The small beach (about 400m) Tsamadou with pebbles is located about 12,5 km northwest from the capital of the island, doesn't have very deep water, but is very clean and unprotected from the north winds which raise large waves when blown.
The beach is located a little out of the outskirt road on the north coast of the island which connects Samos town with Karlovasi a little further out of Kokkari. The residency near the area of the beach, but also in the wide area assures visitors after an nice swim can enjoy a coffee, refreshments and a meal at the restaurant on the coast.
The beach is well organised and offers a swim at a reachable distance from the capital, sunbathing and relaxing on sunbeds under beach umbrellas.
