width="300" height="200" />The large beach (about 3.000m in width) with sand and pebbles Potokaki and Doryssa is located in front of the well known resort, about 14 km southwest of the capital near Pythagoreio, 3-4 km west, with medium depth water and protected by the bay of Pytharogeio on the southeast coast of the island.
This beach is very well organised (it has been rewarded with the Blue Flag many times) and offers you a nice swim in a beautiful sea in a near distance from the capital, next to Pythagoreio and with many utilities and comforts for swimming, sunbathing and water sports. Because of the beach being so big you can easily find parts with less people for a comfortable and quiet swim.
